The Yacht

Here are some snaps of the yacht we'll be sailing on from 1st August-09. Starting in Oslo, we'll head into the North Sea, across to the tip of Scotland, then down the Caledonian Canal (as long as weather permits), down Western Ireland, across to Portugal and then the Canaries. The boat will head across the Atlantic in November to the Carribean. If I manage to make it to Scotland, it will be a miracle. My only sailing experiences so far have been in Asia (mainly Thailand and Malaysia), where the weather is hot

and lazy and you can hang around island coves in the

evenings cooking up a bbq for your boat buddies. The North Sea is likely to be the exact opposite. I've just quit the rat race after 10 years in finance sitting in front of a computer. Let's see how long I last!
